We have released our Cycling Kits for pre-order.  We are using the Velocity line from Hincapie.  The pre-order ends on 07/31/11 and kits will be delivered in about 10 weeks.  Any support will be wonderful.

As you all know I had a trip scheduled to China. The goal was to meet our carbon fiber manufacturer, rim manufacturer and our assembler to do a final check before we started full scale production. We had previously met these factories at Interbike where we interviewed them to get as much information as possible. We felt comfortable with our choices after leaving the show.

We've added to our family of prototypes.  Tonight we completed the construction of our Front FLO 90 wheel.  We were able to get it out on the road before the sun went down.  We had some pretty strong cross winds and I have to say the wheel felt very stable at over 40mph.

Factory Updates

Aero wheels.  The benefits are pretty well documented.  The aerodynamic capabilities of wheels made by Zipp, Hed, Mavic and others are well documented.  There's almost no other single piece of equipment that we triathletes can purchase that is as impactful as a good set of wheels.

I wanted to take a minute and put up a few shots of the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) data we are getting back.  The results for the 60mm fairing are in and we are waiting for the 90mm shape.

Jordan Rapp (http://bit.ly/dhBj67) is hosting "Rappstar's 2nd Annual Ironman Arizona World Bicycle Relief Charity Challenge".  Jordan has teamed up with World Bicycle Relief to help bring bikes to a rural community in Zambia, Africa.  The children of this town face extremely long treks to school. We wanted to update you all on a couple things.





1. We hosted a carbon vote and the results are in.  




1st Place: 3K with 248 Votes

2nd Place: UD with 190 Votes

3rd Place: 12K with 66 Votes
